Conceived as the musical companion to MARILYN100, The Breath of Silence traces a journey through five centuries of feminine portraiture in ten tracks. It opens with Ouverture, an instrumental architecture that will return, transformed, in the final bars. The curtain rises on a museum that exists only in sound.

Blonde Is a Language reduces identity to a single visible attribute. The Last Perfect Smile examines the surface everyone remembers and the effort no one recorded. Diamonds Don’t Know Her Name shifts the gaze toward objects that outlast the woman who wore them.

At the centre lies the title track: silence as memory, breath as reclamation. The Girl Between the Lights captures the unmarked seconds between cue and take. 100 Years of a Gaze expands the frame to a full century. Nothing Was Soft About Her arrives as a manifesto: steel dressed as silk. She Was Never Fragile closes the vocal arc with a statement that rewrites the record.

The album exhales with The Breath of Silence Theme, an instrumental coda that also serves as the ambient soundtrack of the MARILYN100 virtual museum.
