The Breath of Silence
100 cyberpaintings celebrating the centennial of Marilyn Monroe (1926–2026). A journey through five centuries of Western painting by Franco-Italian artist Micheline Grisolame.
Monroe’s face enters one hundred masterworks spanning from 1470 to 1919, organized into six rooms: Renaissance, Golden Age, Enlightenment, Romanticism, Transformation, and Modernity. The conceptual thread: women’s voices suppressed in classical art, Monroe’s open expression as a symbol of emancipation.
The Wall is the physical installation format: 25 works in a 5×5 grid, designed for galleries, cultural venues, and public spaces. The project also encompasses a virtual museum, a collector’s art book, a concept album by Aksonance, and a curated souvenir collection.
