Aksonance celebrates the Year of the Dragon with Dragon of Jade, an epic concept album between myth and legend. Inspired by the legend of the Jade Dragon, the album explores themes of strength, sacrifice and connection to nature through ten epic and orchestrated tracks.
The first track, The Eternal Flame of Jade, evokes the beating heart of the jade, an ancient flame embodying the dragon’s essence. Dragon of Jade emerges as an epic hymn to the dragon as a sacred protector, bursting with energy to tell the story of a lost civilization and the hope the dragon represents.
With Scales of Sacrifice, the journey reaches its most poignant moment, narrating the dragon’s selfless act of giving up a part of itself for the greater good. The album concludes with Dreams of Emerald Flame, a dreamlike track that celebrates the dragon as an eternal symbol.
