The Body Remembers

Aksonance (March 2026)

I leave my coat on the chair like a habit I don’t need. The floor is colder than I thought but it’s real beneath my feet. I don’t ask where I’m going now, I just feel the weight return. Every silence finds a pulse, every scar begins to burn.

The body remembers what the mind forgets. Every fall, every touch, every almost, every yes. The body remembers how to breathe again, when the words fall quiet and the truth is in the skin.
