Luoghitaliani was born from the experience of Cyberpainting exhibitions in Italian villages and has evolved into an editorial platform that tells the story of Italy through its places.
At the heart of the project is the “A pochi metri” series by Dora Scarrocci: short novels set in Italian cities, each tied to a real historical event and the places where it happened. From Rome to Bologna, from Palermo to Naples, twenty stories that turn the reader into a walker, and the walker into a witness.
The format follows concentric circles: the novel tells the place, the micro-guide makes it walkable, the global portal connects those who want to experience it with a local guide. Each circle feeds the next.
Luoghitaliani is an editorial asset of Montecristo International, published by Hanse Media.
